As a financial advisor, David MacLeod enjoys breaking down the technical aspects of his research into plain English so clients can use the information to make good decisions about their future. He especially values those moments when clients realize that all their careful planning has brought them to the point of financial independence.

David’s interest in finance and investments was kindled when he was a kid. His neighbor—a financial advisor—helped David invest money in the stock market as a way to save for college and learn more about investing. David enjoyed the experience so much, he realized he wanted to help others make good use of their money. Fast-forward to 2006—Eclectic Associates offered him a job, and he jumped at the opportunity to work with a fee-only firm that treats people right.

The Fullerton resident is active both at work and in the community. He has served as a member and past president of the Fullerton Sunrise Rotary Club, and enjoys offering pro bono financial advice at community events through the Financial Planning Association. Most of all, he treasures time spent with his wife and three children.
