Carl Lachman, MBA, CFP®

Carl is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and joined Eclectic Associates in 2003. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and minor in Mathematics from Occidental College, and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Prior to joining the firm, Carl handled the finances of a large nonprofit organization and was a consultant for a number of small businesses.
Beyond his work at Eclectic, Carl has been a board member for the Grapevine Outreach, a nonprofit organization that assists victims of domestic violence, and has served on alumni boards at The Webb Schools and UCLA Anderson. Carl is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts, a trustee board member for the Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology, a member of the Chapman University Endowment Council, and a member of the Newport Beach Sunrise Rotary Club. Carl has helped moderate the “It’s Your Money” and “It’s Your Estate” eight week community classes in Fullerton and Brea since the spring of 2011.
Since a child, Carl has enjoyed visiting over 80 National Parks and National Monuments in the U.S.A., traveling to the majority of them with his wife and children. He also likes many outdoor activities, including running, backpacking, fishing, and surfing.
