With more than three decades of experience, Russell Murdock, CFA, offers clients a seasoned approach to comprehensive financial planning and investment management. As a financial advisor at Eclectic Associates, he blends analytical expertise with a genuine passion for guiding clients toward financial clarity and long-term success.
Drawing on 36 years of experience in corporate financial management, investment management, and financial planning, Russell brings deep expertise to his role. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and earned a B.A. in Finance from CSU Fullerton and an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University. He finds great fulfillment in solving complex financial challenges and working with clients who value a long-term outlook in planning.
Russell lives in Huntington Beach with his wife, Denise. They have two adult daughters, one of whom is also part of the Eclectic Associates team: Paraplanner Jennifer Murdock. Outside of work, Russell enjoys car racing, boating on Sunday afternoons, playing pickleball, and roasting the best coffee in the world. A fun fact about Russell—he attended 10 different schools between kindergarten and 12th grade. His favorite travel destination is Germany.
