Prospective Clients

After you have reviewed our website, if you are interested in Eclectic’s services, the following are three steps that need to be taken:

  1. Call us at 714-738-0220 or email us at info@eclecticassociates.comwith a brief description of your situation and someone from our office will give you a call to further discuss our services.
  2. If after speaking with someone from Eclectic, you are interested in our services, schedule an initial no-cost, no-obligation meeting. This will allow you to learn about our services and costs as well as allow us to get to know you and your financial situation. We do not ask you to make a decision on using our services at this meeting, instead we provide you with the information and necessary paperwork to make the decision in the comfort of your home.
  3. If you decide to use our services after you leave our office, we will have you sign our Investment Advisory Agreement and complete our Investment Advisory Questionnaires, which are located on our forms page. These questionnaires will give us information about your goals, priorities, tolerance for risk, and current financial situation. We will also ask to see account statements, trust documents, tax returns, and other financial records.

After you have signed up as a client and returned our Investment Advisory Questionnaires, we analyze the material and prepare a written report or “plan”. The plan consists of a review of your financial situation, retirement planning projections, investment portfolio diversification and other financial issues. We then provide specific recommendations about your investments, recommendations about other financial issues, and action steps we suggest you take based on our recommendations.

As soon as the plan is complete, we send it to you to read and then meet again to review it with you. We review the issues in your plan to ensure you understand and agree with our findings and recommendations. We also make changes to the plan, if needed.

If the plan is acceptable to you, we begin the implementation process. We guide you through this process by making the changes we can and by providing specific instructions in areas where we are not able to make the changes for you. We also monitor the changes to ensure that they are being executed properly.

Once the implementation is underway, we begin the portfolio review process. This follow-up work generally consists of monthly reviews of the investments in your portfolio, full semi-annual portfolio reviews, and reallocation recommendations when needed.

Ongoing consultation by phone or in meetings is available to you at any time with no extra charge. Our Investment Advisory Services Fee is all inclusive. We work with you to answer your questions regarding your financial affairs, whether on investments, financial planning or general financial advice.
