Investment Philosophy

  • Investment diversification is of key importance, especially in today’s uncertain economic environment.
  • Take no more risk than is necessary to accomplish your goals.
  • Tax savings take second place to sound economics in an investment.
  • Consider the complete cost before getting into an investment: commissions, fees, management expenses.

Investment Strategy

In today’s rapidly changing investment environment, diversification is the key to both growth and capital preservation. Diversification is needed among the asset classes of cash, bonds, stocks, and real estate, as well as within these classes.

In the stock and bond categories, Eclectic uses primarily a “portfolio” of true no-load mutual funds. Because of our careful selection of mutual funds, our clients, in effect, employ the very top investment managers. These funds and fund managers are chosen based on performance, management, and investment style.

In addition to careful selection, ongoing evaluations are made of each mutual fund in which our clients are invested. When changes appear advisable, the client is notified and given assistance in making the change. The client always maintains control over the investment.
